Freestyle Training Group
The FTG is designed to accommodate a wide range of swimming abilities. Coach, Valentin is an American Swim Coaches Association Level 3 coach. He creates workouts that include effective drills, speed, and stamina sets that produce results for all swimmers. This is an open workout that meets once a week year-round. Some swimmers drop-in once in a while, others are regular attendees.

Whether you are a fitness swimmer, swim on a masters team, or compete in triathlons, you are a good candidate for this group.
Before you start...
While it may be true that you will learn important skills at each class you still need to get into a pool to practice in order improve your level of comfort at performing each skill. Coach, Valentin suggests that you secure a pool to practice in BEFORE you start any program. At Blue Ocean Swimming you are learning to develop a relationship with the water and not just learning how to swim. Find a place to have your dates with the water or your relationship will suffer.

The workout is a progression that improves your efficiency, stamina, and speed that leads to a quality main-set. Your coach has over 25 years of experience helping swimmers swim better. He is interactive on-deck, giving feedback to enhance your experience at every session.
